The “99 Percent”

fuckyeahlostthings:

Fuck the people who take pride in calling themselves the “99 percent”. If they stop protesting on the street, go back to work, and stimulate the economy, maybe they’ll begin to make a balance. What they don’t realize is that they have to fight to climb the ladder like everyone else does. Just because life hasn’t dealt them an easy hand and they’ve seemingly collapsed under the pressure doesn’t give them the right to protest whatsoever. In fact, the right to protest was given to them by the men who built our country on hard work, passion, drive, angst, and a vision for a new world. Blood, sweat, and tears. A revolution doesn’t come with laziness.

It’d be nice for that to happen if there weren’t a single open job for every four unemployed people.

These are the true American heroes. A protest like this is LONG overdue in the United States. It’s a pity that there is more news coverage of Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann, two individuals who work without the American people in mind.
True Americans fight for what is right.
True Americans fight for freedom.
True Americans fight for the democracy our forefathers created.
True Americans do not boo the soldiers that defend their country.
True Americans stand up to the abuse of power from the top 1%.
True Americans make up for 99% of this country.
It’s time that politicians, greedy corporations, and the media listen to True Americans.
Because True Americans #occupywallstreet.
And True Americans…
