15 or 16 is when you’re supposed to become mature. She wasn’t. End of story.
It doesn’t matter how mature you were at 12, that didn’t make the other kids at that same level right?
15 and 16 can still mean you are a child and you’re still growing up out of whatever phase you were ever in. Not pointing that out at you but to Lin and other weebs out there, I gave up wanting to move to Japan when I was like 17 :/

This girl is in high school, right? 14-18 year range? High school is a time to mature to get ready to go out in the real world. It’s when you learn what’s right and what’s wrong before you get out there and do the same stupid things and get into deeper trouble for it. Basically, if she doesn’t get slapped in the face now, she’s going to get punched in the gut later.
It’s fine when you’re a child, like, younger than 13 or so, and you have the time and more freedom to be, well, a child. After that, though, you get kicked off the kids’ menu and have to learn to pick from the big items. (Mind the restaurant metaphor.)
And the whole base of the things you read about on places like weaboostories, mind you, is people like ginsengteacat who may never grow up, and nobody likes them because they refuse to grow up.
Trust me, you can tell when someone’s starting to mature, and with recent events, it doesn’t look like ginsengteacat is going to anytime soon.

okay but seriously, she may be needing that slap in the face for being an immature brat, but what honestly makes you think asswipes from the internet should be doing that (not saying you are one, but pointing her out like that brings those people to her)? You don’t know what bullshit she gets in person, and on top of that there are completely INSANE FUCKTARDS of anons would should never go after a person because of their immaturity and retardedness. fact is, the internet should not really be the ones telling her to “grow the fuck up” (at least not in any sort of gang-attack type method, which is what pointing her craziness on weaboostores does), mostly because of how the internet likes to do that. between threats, rude jeering, and other bullshit, a kid should not be dealing with that.
And side note, you don’t decide what age it is that someone really “matures”, it’s different for everyone and some people mature slower than others. There’s a general range, sure, but honestly? 13 is when you mature? What are you on? Most teenagers are far less mature than they think they are. And honestly, if she’s going to continue to be an immature brat, let her get “punched in the gut” later instead of making her a target for the asswipes of the internet.

For one, I totally don’t support the degree of harassment she got. I think some of it was really blown up, but at the same time, she handled it terribly. She’s like the Jessie Slaughter of weeaboos right now. It doesn’t take more than a minute to calm the fuck down and breathe, which I’m pretty sure is a method they teach third graders when they go through the whole “be nice and happy” thing that most schools shove in their faces. But she blew up her own situation by feeding the trolls and haters, and like Jessie Slaughter, I believe she deserves the negativity she’s getting.
And yes, in our society, there is a certain age we’re supposed to start maturing at. People mature at different rates, yes, but there’s a point where people should at least act, if not be, mature so they can get even a scrap of respect. That point now is when you’re progressing through high school. Hopefully, ginsengteacat is learning her lesson now, because if not, she’s gonna get a lot of shit when she’s older. (She’s gonna get shit either way, but again, it’s the slap in the face versus the punch in the gut.)
