Ask for the reasons. Like, ask specifically. Be as specific as possible. Be like, “Why exactly are you declining me?”
Otherwise though, honestly, I just got into college - I wouldn’t know too much about things like that.
Just from this scrap of information you sent, though, it sounds like you’re in a situation where you might not be able to afford another apartment, and forget legal assistance. Maybe you might be able to find groups that would be able to help people in your situation…
