I let out a terrible, ear-piercing internal scream whenever I see huge tumblr fandoms’ fans take ridiculous stabs at one another for no good reason 

let’s get some things straight 

• there are OVERLAPPING FANS for any fandom you criticize that might/will take offense if you’re an ass to fans of other things 
• if your fandom has a bad rep IT DOESN’T HELP YOUR FANDOM’S CASE 
• this is why stupid pointless internet fights happen 
• stupid pointless internet fights are stupid because it’s like playing mario party - you get nothing valuable out of it no matter how long you drag it out (unless you’re taking bets but that’s always the exception) 
• every fandom will be in your face about their love for it. not just Homestuck (GASP) you’ve probably seen it yourself, fans will post endlessly about the things they love and it’s a fact of tumblife  
• with this, DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMEONE POSTING SO MUCH OF A FANDOM. holy shit people, they like their stuff, just deal with it 
• and if you don’t wanna put up with it FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO FOLLOW that will post more of what you want because surprisingly there are other people on tumblr 

and most importantly 

• one bad post or the stupid actions of one fan do not reflect the entire fandom at all 

I mean yes there are very insane fans

but in reality not every Twilight fan tries to draw blood from their boy/girlfriend to “try to be a vampire” and not every Justin Bieber fan vandalizes Wikipedia out of rage because Biebs got snubbed for an award 

don’t make conclusions 

in conclusion 

we’re all on the same site here 

there will be clashes 

but please let’s try to get along so that nobody exits the window in a bad mood 

(and yes I am going to tag this with every major fandom I know of on tumblr because some people don’t get the concept of “don’t be an ass”)

Now usually, I don’t make fun of people for like Naruto (mainly because I like Naruto myself), but I think this is a bit extreme. And, honestly, I feel bad for the submitter’s girlfriend. I mean, how would you feel if your boyfriend/girlfriend dumped you because they were more interested in an anime character? Sigh. People these days.

We don’t know what the reason is, whether it’s with tumblr or for her personal life, or maybe she was hacked, but we can all agree on one thing: this blog has impacted hundreds, if not thousands, of tumblr users.

A lot of us have learned from this blog, and some of us had things we wanted to get off our chests. Conflicts have started and ended, “slang” has been straightened out, and rage has been expressed. Some of us have been able to forgive ourselves for our own stupid mistakes. Maybe some of us have just had to deal with the worst of them. 

She did this to prove a point - that there are bad anime fans out there, immature ones that may never grow up from their “phase.” But at the same time, she helped reveal and bring out into the light the ongoing conflict that mature and immature anime fans are having. 

We have to make sure this blog doesn’t die in vain. We have to keep the issue out in the open and raise awareness. We have to keep the courage to open up and tell the truth about the stupidity that’s going on. 

If you have a “Weeaboo Story” type of post, tag it “#weeaboo stories” and regularly check the tag as if it were the weaboostories blog.

Don’t be scared. We stand with you. 

If any weeaboos have a problem with your post, they have a problem with all of us - the fans who won’t put up with their bull. 

Keep strong and post on.
